National Night Out
National Night Out is an annual community-building program that promotes strong police-community partnerships by bringing together neighborhoods with community events held on the first Tuesday of August. The events are typically hosted by a committee of individuals as block parties, festivals, parades, or cookouts.
In 2025, United Way, sponsored by UPMC Health Plan and UPMC Northwest, funded eight community events at the following locations:
- Christ United Methodist Church
- Clintonville Borough
- Emlenton Borough
- Oil City – South Side Hub
- Rocky Grove Fire Hall
- Rouseville
- St. Elizabeth Center
- Titusville Fire Department
Through these events, residents come together to celebrate our small communities and our police force, firemen, Game Commission, and EMTs.
*National Night Mini-Grants are not restricted to 501(c)3 Non-Profits.
Grant applications are now open. Deadline to apply is June 12th.
