Titusville, PA – United Way of Venango and Titusville Region is excited to announce their first Blooming Book Bash, set for Friday, August 8th, 2025. The event will be held at the David L. Weber Community Garden located at 128 W Central Avenue, Titusville, PA 16354.
From 11:00 am – 2:00 pm, children and families are invited to enjoy an afternoon filled with snacks, games, and fun activities. As a special gift, every child under the age of five will receive a free bag of books, gardening supplies, and seeds to inspire learning and play at home. This event is made possible thanks to a partnership with The Clinton Foundation and their Too Small To Fail initiative.
Too Small To Fail supports early brain and language development by encouraging parents to talk, read, and sing with their children. The initiative helps create opportunities for meaningful daily interactions that lay the foundation for school readiness and lifelong success.
As another part of this initiative, United Way has partnered with the Benson Memorial Library to provide children under the age of five with a free monthly book. The books may be picked up at the library during regular business hours. This program runs until May 2026 and is available for any Titusville Area residents.
