Center for Financial Independence
The Center for Financial Independence (CFI) strives to reduce the number of residents who rely on human service agencies during a financial crisis by helping them become more financially independent.
CFI offers guidance on various financial issues including case management, budget counseling, rent and property tax rebates, assistance with health insurance and government forms, housing and utility assistance, and more. United Way’s Program Director is well informed on numerous programs available in our area and gives referrals where our services are unable to meet a clients need.

The highly skilled Program Director works to identify the underlying causes of crisis to help individuals bridge out of poverty and into a more self-satisfying life.
This program is possible thanks to funding from the Titusville American Legion, Moose Club, Social Determinants of Health Funds, Human Services Development Fund, private foundations, and individual donations.
